Hey guys! So exciting news! I sent out my survey today!! There was many problems with the IRB accepting our proposal, but they have been figured out and I am on my way! I know it is a little late considering this is my last week onsite, but I can analyze the results at home! I will link a copy of the survey at the bottom of this post!

DeleteI am a senior in Lutheran High School-Parker and I am an ebook fan. As far as I concern, etextbook is much better than the regular textbook in the term of price, size, accessbility, flexibilitys ...... (almost in every way). One thing makes me frustrated is, unlike other kindle ebook, etextbook can not change background color and can easily tire out my eyes. And there is a problem of writing, organizing, importing and exporting notes on etextbook too. As far as reading experience, I wonder where do you think etextbook still need to work on?
ReplyDeleteHello Val, this is Braden Bloom from Lutheran High School in Parker Colorado. After reading through some of your blog posts, I found that I am intrigued with the subject of your project. I understand that you are already technically finished with your project, but I thought I could try and add some value. In one of the classes that I am in, we do a lot of project based work, and we all use laptops for nearly every activity in that class. Although it's not a traditional class, using laptops seems to work great consistently, despite maybe a few small setbacks here and there with the reliability of the network. I also scanned over your survey and tried to identify the problems that could come with the switch to technology for a school or certain class and did see where some problems would be presented when this happens on a larger scale in a home room, etc. I could definitely see it as being a distraction to less motivated students. What do you believe the biggest setback will be with the process of implementing technology into classrooms, and what are some ways that this problem could be avoided? I love your subject, and I think it is an extremely important matter to discuss and think through since technology is growing more and more, and becoming more a part of our lives everyday.
